In this podcast episode, Kristin interviews her sister, Melaine Myklebust, about Melaine’s experience leading a parish mission at the Centered on Christ Catholic Community in Cold Spring, MN. Unlike traditional parish missions led by specialized speakers, this mission was led by the parishioners themselves.
This unique parish mission model offered parishioners opportunities to encounter Jesus and share Him with others. Parishioners received formation and accompaniment in sharing their testimonies and praying with others, offering them a chance to actively participate in evangelization during the parish mission.
